Patrick Mahomes reacted via social media after some footage of him shirtless went viral.
“Inside the NFL” shared some footage on X Wednesday from inside the Kansas City Chiefs’ locker room as they celebrated their win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. The video clip showed Mahomes shirtless, and some were struck that the star quarterback wasn’t completely ripped.

Sheesh, if that’s considered a “dad bod” or a belly, there is no hope for 98% of the rest of us who don’t live in the gym.
Nevertheless, Mahomes saw the reactions and comments and offered a response via X.

It seems to me that if you look at Tom Brady, Mahomes and Eli Manning, that’s the exact type of body an elite quarterback possesses. That’s also a better body than most dads have too.
Mahomes shouldn’t think twice. Plus, he’s got two Super Bowl rings. Not many others can make that claim.
