Peyton Manning lashed out at allegations that he received HGH in his first televised appearance since the report went public.

Manning spoke to ESPN’s Lisa Salters on Sunday NFL Countdown and was visibly upset in issuing his strongest denial yet of the report.

“I think I rotate, Lisa, between being angry, furious, on and on, but disgusted is really how I feel, sickened by it,” Manning said. “I’m not sure I understand how someone can make something up about somebody, admit that he made it up, and yet somehow it gets published in a story.

“It’s completely fabricated, complete trash, garbage.”

Manning particularly took offense to his wife being implicated.

“It makes me sick that it brings Ashley into it, her medical history, her medical privacy being violated, it makes me sick,” Manning said. “I don’t understand it.”

Manning flatly denied using HGH or any sort of performance-enhancing drugs.

“I went to the Guyer Clinic,” Manning said. “He had a hyperbaric chamber that our Colts trainers and doctors thought might be good for me. They went with me and thought it might help.

“I don’t know this guy [Charlie Sly]. I’ve never heard of this guy up until this report. I’ve never met this guy. Any medical treatments that my wife received, that’s her business. Nothing to do with me.”

Here is full video of Manning’s interview.

Manning was visibly upset during the interview, and it mostly echoed his written statement. It is the strongest denial yet against the original Al Jazeera report.
