Rams WR arrested on suspicion of DUI
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was arrested on Monday morning on suspicion of DUI.
Robinson was pulled over by police for allegedly driving over 100 mph on a Los Angeles freeway, according to TMZ Sports. He was driving a white Dodge sedan.
The incident happened in the wee hours of Monday morning, just hours after the Rams’ “Sunday Night Football” matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Rams wideout reportedly showed “signs of impairment,” which alerted authorities of Robinson potentially being intoxicated. Robinson refused to take a field sobriety test. He was later arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and brought to a nearby police station.
Robinson was cited and eventually released to a responsible party. NFL Media later confirmed the news.
