RB CJ Anderson signs with Raiders
CJ Anderson has landed with an AFC West team, but not the one everyone expected.
Anderson is signing with the Oakland Raiders, according to multiple reporters. The news comes a day after Anderson visited with the Kansas City Chiefs, with reporters saying he was expected to sign with KC.
Instead, the Chiefs signed Charcandrick West, leaving Anderson to sign with Oakland.
The Raiders have Doug Martin, Jalen Richardson, and DeAndre Washington at running back, but all three lost fumbles in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. That could be a reason for the Raiders signing Anderson.
Anderson rushed for over 1,000 yards with Denver last season. He was cut by the Panthers last month after rushing for just 104 yards on 24 carries.
