Richie Incognito contemplating retirement, sends cryptic tweet to NFLPA
Richie Incognito agreed to a pay cut with the Buffalo Bills last month, but the veteran offensive lineman may not be sticking around to collect his reduced salary.
On Tuesday, Inocognito told Peter King of The MMQB that he is strongly considering retirement but would return for another season in 2018 if the price is right.
BREAKING: @68INCOGNITO tells me he is strongly considering retiring. May return for one last season, at the right price.

Incognito’s recent pay cut reduced his base salary from $6.3 million to $3.7 million, but he received a $1 million bonus as part of the restructure. It’s possible the 34-year-old is having second thoughts about playing for less money, and he seems to be having fun fueling the rumor mill.

A lot of weird stuff has been going on with Incognito this offseason, as he also fired his agents via social media last week. He has not said what prompted him to move on from his representation or what has him thinking about hanging up the cleats, though that seems to be part of the enjoyment for him at the moment.
