Rob Gronkowski isn’t necessarily a big stat head, but when it comes to the number 69, nothing slips past him.
Gronk played one half of the New England Patriots’ regular season finale against the New York Jets on Sunday and was not targeted in the game. That meant he finished the season with 69 receptions.
Gronk was asked about that after the game and was pretty cognizant of his feat:
