Rob Gronkowski hints at return to Buccaneers
Rob Gronkowski certainly sounds like he plans to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for another season.
Gronkowski made a surprise visit to a Tampa barber shop on Wednesday, and video emerged showing the tight end suggesting that he would likely return to the Buccaneers. Gronkowski said there was a “very good chance” he would re-sign with the team, but joked that he wants to let Tom Brady “have a little scare” and wait a bit because “he just did it to me for a couple of months.”

Gronkowski is a free agent and appeared willing to at least listen to other teams. That was when Brady had announced his retirement, however. Now that the quarterback is returning, it’s likely Tampa or nothing for Gronkowski.
Reports suggested that the Buccaneers got to work trying to bring Gronkowski back as soon as Brady returned. He may make them wait a bit, but it sounds like that’s where he will ultimately wind up.
