Rob Gronkowski has fantastic quote when accepting service award (Video)

Rob Gronkowski received a community service award on Tuesday night, and he opened his acceptance speech with an all-time great line.

Gronkowski was honored with the team’s annual Ron Burton Community Service Award at a team kickoff event at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday. How did he open his acceptance speech? Fantastically.

“It’s an honor to accept this award,” Gronkowski told the assembled audience. “Who would have ever thought that five years ago, when I was on ESPN every weekend drunk, that I’d be accepting this award?”

Not us, Rob. Not us. It’s not like the behavior has even stopped — remember the Gronk Cruise? It seems he’s tempered the drunk ESPN appearances, though.
