Former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III sent a pretty funny coronavirus-related tweet on Monday.
Griffin, who is entering his third season with the Baltimore Ravens, cracked this joke that went viral.
Whoever said one person can’t change the world never ate an undercooked bat
— Robert Griffin III (@RGIII) April 6, 2020
The tweet relates to the theory that the coronavirus stemmed from bats. The crazier but related rumor suggests that the virus began appearing in humans because of a market in Wuhan, China that sells animals as food or pets, such as bats.
RG3 hasn’t been especially known for cracking jokes or being funny (except when it’s unintentional), so my guess is he probably saw this elsewhere. Still, that is a good joke by the 30-year-old quarterback.
