Russell Wilson knows better than just about anyone how tough the San Francisco 49ers are.
Wilson’s Seattle Seahawks played the Niners twice during the regular season since they’re NFC West rivals. The teams split the two games, and Wilson had a rough go of it against San Francisco in both games.
While watching the Niners defense force Patrick Mahomes to struggle in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Wilson sent an appropriate tweet.

Yes, that 49ers defense sure is for real. They got constant pressure on Patrick Mahomes and sacked him three times to that point in the game. Their defensive front just doesn’t allow you much.
