The New York Jets are still trying to get Ryan Fitzpatrick back in the fold, and they’ve reportedly made him an array of offers to try to make it happen.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets have made Fitzpatrick at least one other offer in addition to the reported 3 year, $24 million contract that was on the table.
Given that Fitzpatrick has yet to accept any of the Jets’ offers, whatever New York has on the table likely isn’t tempting enough to compel him to put pen to paper.
There have been signs that Fitzpatrick is distancing himself from the Jets. One of his teammates has had a hard time getting a hold of him, and he’s giving up property in the area. The longer this goes on, the truer this report is starting to look.
