Report: Sammy Watkins likely to play against Jets
Despite recent a report that claimed Sammy Watkins is experiencing severe pain in his surgically-repaired foot, the Buffalo Bills wide receiver is not expected to miss Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Watkins is pushing to play.
Bills WR Sammy Watkins, listed as questionable for tonight vs. Jets with foot injury, "wants to play and probably will", per league source.

Watkins broke his foot during the offseason and underwent surgery. There have been rumblings that he could be shut down for an indefinite period of time due to lingering issues with it, but the star wideout has been adamant that he will continue to play.
There are no must-win games in Week 2 of the season, but neither the Jets nor the Bills want to get off to an 0-2 start. Buffalo is a much more dangerous team offensively with Watkins on the field.
