Thursday night’s Seattle Seahawks-Denver Broncos matchup generated major buzz for reasons other than football.
The throwback uniforms stole the show during the Week 6 clash at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo. The home team rocked their vintage “Orange Crush” jerseys that date back to the 1970s, while the defending Super Bowl champions brought the 1990s back with their royal blue and green garb.
Social media was flooded with posts about Thursday night’s jersey matchup being an all-time feast for the eyes.

Fans love seeing their team sport a good throwback jersey every so often. When both teams go retro in the same game — and do it properly — it’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing things in sports.
The uniforms were arguably the most visually impressive part of Thursday’s game. Neither offense could get anything going in an ugly 17-14 Broncos overtime win that had Sam Darnold seeing ghosts again.
