Seattle Seahawks rookie safety Bud Clark appeared to suffer a serious injury to open Sunday’s preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.
Clark was in a lot of pain after hurting his leg on Seattle’s first defensive snap of the contest at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Seahawks trainers brought out an air cast to stabilize Clark’s leg, which had many suspecting the injury to be serious.
Virtually the entire Seahawks sideline was on the field in solidarity with Clark, who had to be carted off to the locker room. Clark’s despondent face as he was wheeled away spoke volumes.

The Seahawks picked Clark in the second round of the 2026 draft in April. Clark tallied 1.5 sacks, 4 interceptions, and 56 combined tackles in his final season at TCU.
Clark was listed as a second-string free safety behind Pro Bowler Julian Love and veteran Ty Okada in the team’s last unofficial depth chart.
