Sean Lee responds to Dez Bryant’s ‘snake’ jab
Sean Lee is not shying away from a beef with Dez Bryant.
On Friday, Bryant got things started by calling Lee a “snake” on Twitter. He said that Lee was behind him being cut by the Dallas Cowboys.
Lee addressed Bryant’s criticism from Cowboys camp on Friday. He denied having the power to have a player cut from the team but did acknowledge the two butted heads. He says it was an issue over accountability and that others agreed with him.
Sean Lee’s response to being called a snake by Dez Bryant: “First thing, to say I can get anybody off the team & have input on the roster is absurd. Second thing, I love Dez & I want the best for him. To be honest with you, we did butt heads because I wanted Dez to be more…1/2

…accountable to this team & his teammates. And to be honest with you, a lot of the team felt that way. I think he needs to look at himself & hold himself accountable.”

Despite the harsh jabs from Bryant, you don’t have to look far to wonder who the better teammate is. One guy talks about being accountable and admits they butted heads. The other calls the owner “clueless,” a former teammate a “snake,” and criticizes the playcalling from his previous team. That’s exactly why teams will be very careful before deciding whether Bryant is worth signing.
