The New York Jets will have their hands full trying to contain Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles on Sunday. Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson knows Charles is one of the most explosive players in the league, but he doesn’t feel the need to discuss it in detail.
On Wednesday, Richardson praised Charles and fellow running back Knile Davis for being “electrifying” but left it at that.
“Can’t sleep on those guys at all,” he said, via Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. “We’ve got our work cut for us this game. You also see highlight tapes too, so I don’t have to sit here and repeat why he’s good. I don’t want to ride his jockstrap. He’s good. Alright? That’s it.”
If Jets beat writers don’t ask Richardson more questions about Charles this week, I’m going to be extremely disappointed.
