Stefon Diggs made sure to stand out with his outfit as the New England Patriots touched down in San Francisco ahead of Super Bowl 60.
The Patriots were breathing California air on Sunday afternoon, a week before the team faces off against the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Most of the players and coaching staff were wearing uniform Patriots gear as they disembarked from the team’s private charter.
Diggs had no plans of blending into the crowd. The All-Pro wide receiver looked like he was ready to brave a harsh Siberian winter with his fuzzy coat and boots. His bottoms, however, didn’t offer the same level of warmth as he had on a pair of ripped jeans.
Quite the travel fit for WR Stefon Diggs as the #Patriots board their plane out west for Super Bowl LX.

Diggs’ look was even more conspicuous next to the rest of his teammates.

Drake Maye, on the other hand, was all-in on the full team gear.

Football skills aside, Diggs has always been eccentric to say the least. Coming into the season, there were serious questions about his fit with the Patriots, given his propensity for controversy off the field.
New England was able to rein him in just enough to get a 1,000-yard receiving season out of Diggs in his first year with the team. The 4-time Pro Bowler got emotional after the Patriots’ AFC Championship win over the Denver Broncos as he thanked the team for giving him a chance.
