Stefon Diggs has a new team.
Diggs is signing a 3-year deal with the New England Patriots. The deal will pay him $69 million total and includes $26 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Patriots will be Diggs’ third team in three years. He forced a trade away from the Buffalo Bills after the 2023 season and played last year with the Houston Texans. Now he is set to play for the Patriots in 2025.

Diggs had 47 catches for 496 yards and 3 touchdowns in 8 games last season. He suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury on October 27. The Patriots are banking on the 31-year-old being able to successfully return from the injury in time for the start of next season. A recent report said that Diggs was ahead of schedule in his recovery process, which should bode well for his chances of being ready for Week 1.
Diggs is a four-time Pro Bowl receiver who dominated during his four years in Buffalo from 2020-2023. He led the NFL with 127 catches and 1,535 receiving yards in 2020. He was on pace for another good season last year until getting hurt.
Though the signing comes with some risk considering Diggs’ injury, the Patriots feel it is worthwhile. They want to give second-year quarterback Drake Maye a good receiving option and are delivering.
