Steve Smith called for offensive pass interference on game-winning touchdown (Video)
Steve Smith was called for offensive pass interference on what would have likely been a game-winning touchdown for the Baltimore Ravens against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday.
The Ravens had a 3rd-and-10 from the 20 with 47 seconds left. Joe Flacco was flushed out of the pocket, rolled to his right, and heaved a bomb down to about the Cincinnati 20, where Smith made the catch and took the ball into the end zone. Unfortunately, he was called for a penalty that not only took away the touchdown, but pushed the Ravens back 10 yards.
Baltimore ended up turning it over on downs, giving Cincinnati a 24-20 win.
Did George Iloka flop? It sure looked like it, but did it matter?
