Steve Smith thinks Panthers have finally found replacement for him
Praise from Steve Smith does not come easily, so his comments after the Carolina Panthers selected wide receiver D.J. Moore were quite notable on Thursday night.
Smith left Carolina after the 2013 season, and he was of the belief that the Panthers have never managed to fill his shoes since then — until Thursday, when they made Moore the 24th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Damn @89SteveSmith doesn’t mix words about the @Panthers drafting of WR DJ Moore from Maryland

Smith is one of the greatest players in Panthers franchise history, and this isn’t a remark that he would make lightly. Perhaps Carolina fans should be very excited about their new wide receiver.
