The Super Bowl logo rumor has finally been debunked
The NFL is scripted — or so some conspiracy theorists would have you believe. One recent rumor centered on the Super Bowl logo was finally debunked after Sunday’s contests.
The conspiracy stated that the logos chosen for each Super Bowl ahead of the season contain hints of which teams will end up playing in the big game.
The logo for Super Bowl LVI between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams featured the colors orange and yellow. The design for Super Bowl LVII also roughly matched the colors of its participants the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

The two top seeds this season — the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens — both happened to match the purple and crimson colors of the Super Bowl LVIII logo. But Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs ended the Super Bowl color match on Sunday by beating the Ravens 17-10 at M&T Stadium in Baltimore, Md.

Ravens fans probably wished that the fix truly were in. But Mahomes and the Chiefs proved to be more potent than any color conspiracy.
