Texans reveal extent of Stefon Diggs’ knee injury
Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs suffered a non-contact injury on Sunday that was unfortunately as bad as it appeared.
Diggs left Houston’s 23-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts after he hurt his knee while making a cut on a route in the second half. He limped off the field under his own power and did not return.
On Tuesday, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters that Diggs suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

The Texans acquired Diggs in a trade with the Buffalo Bills during the offseason. Diggs was having a productive season with 47 catches for 496 yards and 3 touchdowns before he went down. He had taken on a bigger role in recent weeks with Nico Collins sidelined because of a hamstring injury.
Houston improved to 6-2 with the win over the Colts, but their wide receiver depth is now an issue. They could potentially take a look at one former Pro Bowl wideout who is on the trade block.
