Darrelle Revis has not been the shutdown cornerback this season we have grown accustomed to seeing, and he may have hit a low point on Sunday when Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins ran circles around him.
Check that, the low point for Revis was probably when the Texans trolled him on Twitter Tuesday.

After he caught five passes for 118 yards and burned Revis for a 61-yard touchdown, Hopkins used air quotes when mentioning “Revis Island.”
In Revis’ defense, Hopkins is arguably the best receiver on the planet at the moment. He’s torching everyone who covers him and having an incredible season. That said, that Twitter troll job is the most embarrassing thing to happen to Revis since he was trucked by Odell Beckham (video here) during the preseason. You have to wonder if he’s hurt or something.
