Ryan Fitzpatrick is still the starting quarterback of the New York Jets, and if you ask coach Todd Bowles, there’s no real alternative.
Bowles asserted that Fitzpatrick will start again in Week 13, and it doesn’t sound like there was much thought of changing it up.
Bowles said the decision to stick with Fizpatrick was a no-brainer. "No debate," he said. I can hear the fan base rumbling. #Jets

With the Jets out of the playoff race and Fitzpatrick not playing well at really any point, there had been talk of turning to Bryce Petty to finish the season. Some veteran players reportedly would have been angered by that, though, and Bowles seems to feel similarly. Since the best alternative in Geno Smith got hurt, Fitzpatrick has started every game in which he’s been healthy.
