Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen divorce rumors resurface
As Tom Brady continues his fight against the NFL in an attempt to clear his name in the Deflategate scandal, rumors have surfaced that he is also dealing with trouble at home.
The cover of the latest issue of OK! Magazine claims Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen are heading for a divorce. A source reportedly told the gossip publication that all of the emotional support Gisele has shown for Brady on social media in recent weeks is nothing more than a smokescreen.
“Things between Tom and Gisele have been strained for a long time,” the insider said. “Tom and Gisele had a massive fight (while the couple was out for Brady’s birthday dinner), and she stormed out.”
There are lots of other tidbits including claims that Brady and Gisele have been fighting at home nonstop and that things have “never been this bad.” The report also mentions that recent trip that Brady supposedly took with actor Ben Affleck and Affleck’s nanny, during which the nanny was photographed wearing Brady’s Super Bowl rings.
Two important things to keep in mind here — the source and the timing. This is the same magazine that recently claimed Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are also dealing with relationship issues because Verlander has proposed too many times. We haven’t heard anything else about that. More importantly, rumors indicated that Brady and Gisele’s marriage was in trouble well over a year ago. Yet, here we are.
For now, Brady is likely focused solely on trying to beat the NFL in court.
