When the transcript from Tom Brady’s appeal hearing was released on Tuesday, so too were hundreds of his personal emails that had nothing to do with inflating or deflating footballs. For me personally, going through them is a bit uncomfortable. But that didn’t stop me from getting a good chuckle out of an email Brady sent about Mark Brunell.
In response to an email that had a subject line that read “Mark Brunell,” Brady told former Michigan teammate Pat Kratus that Brunell has it out for the New England Patriots.

For those of you who somehow missed the clip, Brunell went viral after the AFC Championship Game when he choked up on live TV because he didn’t believe what Brady had to say about Deflategate. You can see the infamous video here.
We don’t know if Brunell is actually a Patriot hater, but he wouldn’t be the first guy to work for ESPN that disliked the team.
