New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed a second straight practice on Thursday with a knee injury.
Brady did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday due to some sort of knee problem.
Tom Brady (knee) did not practice for the 2nd day in a row. WR Matthew Slater (foot) & TE Martellus Bennett (ankle) also didn't practice.

This probably doesn’t mean much. There is no real indication that Brady is in any danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Jets. As Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald notes, Brady missed practices aren’t exactly a death sentence.
Tom Brady missed practice today. The last time he missed two practices before a game, he had a perfect passer rating vs. the Lions in 2010.

Still, the Patriots are a little banged up, with the prognosis for one of Brady’s favorite targets looking pretty bleak. Don’t count on Brady sitting out, however, as he’s sat out of plenty of practices before with minor injuries before playing just fine.
