Reporter shoots down Tom Brady checking schools in Nashville rumor
A rumor about Tom Brady being in Nashville to check out schools has been shot down.
On Thursday, a rumor circulated on social media saying that Tom Brady was in Nashville with his son checking out a school. The rumor was spread by Nashville Post writer Michael Gallagher, who said he was hearing Brady was in town visiting Montgomery Bell Academy with his son.

The report was supplemented with other people from the Nashville area saying on Twitter they had heard Brady and his son were visiting the school.
Brady has two sons: Jack (12) and Benny (10). Montgomery Bell Academy is the same school where Kirk Herbstreit’s sons attend/attended.
Montgomery Bell Academy is only for grades 7-12, meaning Benny is too young for it. However, Jack, who lives with his mother Bridget Moynahan in New York, would be of age for the school.
In any case, NBC Sports’ Tom E. Curran said the rumor was false. Larry Brown Sports reached out to Brady’s agent about the rumor but did not hear back.
Another reporter shot down the report.

The Patriots reportedly want an answer from Brady prior to the start of free agency.
