Tom Brady’s dad wants the Patriots to score 60 points against the Colts

Tom Brady Sr. has no problem speaking candidly about his son, and he’s not holding back when talking about how he hopes Sunday’s Patriots/Colts game will go.

“The main thing I want is to see them win,” the elder Brady told the New York Daily News’s Gary Myers. “As long as they have one point more than the Colts, I’m fine. That being said, I’d like to see them put 60 points on the board, and love to see Tom throw for 500 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s me dreaming. That kind of comes from me.”

Brady Sr. goes on to emphasize that he wants the Patriots to score 60 every week, but there is definitely some Deflategate-based bitterness fueling things here.

“I don’t have any inside information that, ‘Yeah, we’re going to pick them apart,'” Brady Sr. continued. “Tommy never says that. He always says, ‘We’re going to win.'”

The younger Brady has been diplomatic about the matchup this week, but you can bet he’d love to throw for eight touchdowns against the Colts too in a game that will be a little bit personal.
