Report: Travis Kelce undergoes ankle surgery, likely back for training camp
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce reportedly needed a cleanup on his ankle.
According to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Kelce recently underwent surgery on his ankle to clean some issues up and will miss most of the team’s spring program. He is, however, expected to be ready to go for training camp.
#Chiefs All-Pro TE Travis Kelce recently underwent ankle surgery, sources tell me and @RapSheet. One source described it as a “cleanup.” Kelce will miss some, if not all, of the team’s spring program but is expected back for the start of training camp.

Kelce had his best season in 2018, catching 103 passes for 1,336 yards and ten touchdowns. It sounds like the surgery shouldn’t have any impact on his availability for the start of preseason.
