Trey Burton sends perfect tweet after Eagles run trick play
Trey Burton sent a perfect tweet after the Philadelphia Eagles perfectly executed a trick play during Thursday night’s season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
Midway through the third quarter, the Eagles were facing a critical 3rd-and-5 from the Atlanta 41. Doug Pederson went into his bag of tricks for a play that included a throw from a wide receiver back to the quarterback.

Nelson Agholor was the receiver who threw the pass to Nick Foles, which went for 15 yards and helped give Philly momentum for a touchdown drive.
Burton sent the following tweet afterwards:
Nice throw @nelsonagholor

Burton was the player who threw the touchdown pass to Foles on the original “Philly Special” that helped the Eagles beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. He’s now with the Chicago Bears, but he’s obviously still watching his old team. Just don’t let anyone remind him about the illegal formation controversy.
