Vance Joseph responds to speculation about his coaching future
Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph is on the hot seat if you believe the speculation around the league, and he’s not really shying away from it.
Joseph didn’t try to deny it when asked if he felt he was coaching week-to-week, turning it into an answer about how every NFL coach is judged by success and failure.
Joseph asked if he’s fighting for his coaching life this week: “Absolutely. That’s every coach in this league. Every week. If you don’t feel that way you’re missing something. … that doesn’t motivate me. I’m already motivated to win games and fix our football team.” #9sports

Joseph is trying to diffuse the question a bit, but the reality is, his seat is hotter than virtually every other coach’s. Denver has lost four straight games and has three more before their Week 10 bye, with Thursday night’s game against Arizona looking very winnable. If the Broncos can’t win that one, the speculation around Joseph could become deafening.
