The Kansas City Chiefs needed two things to go their way in order to clinch the No. 2 spot in the AFC on Sunday, and both happened. They beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-21, and they got help from the Miami Dolphins, who beat the New England Patriots 27-24.
During his postgame interview on CBS, Patrick Mahomes shouted out Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick for helping them out.
“That’s Fitzmagic. I love watching him play — he’s a great player,” Mahomes said.
"That's Fitzmagic though, I love watching him play. He's a great player."

Fitzpatrick did work his magic. He passed for 320 yards and one touchdown, which was the game-winner with 24 seconds left. The Dolphins finished 5-11 after a horrendous start, which marked a big turnaround. And their final win of the season was huge for Kansas City.
