Video shows Sean Payton in heated sideline exchange with Bo Nix
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton and rookie quarterback Bo Nix had a heated exchange on the sideline during Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Broncos were leading 20-10 late in the third quarter at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo. After one of Denver’s drives fizzled out, Payton was shown saying something to Nix on the sideline. The former Oregon star got very animated and did not look happy with his coach.

We can only speculate as to what Payton and Nix were talking about, but Nix clearly seemed agitated with his coach, especially with the way the quarterback stormed away.
Payton has a tendency to wear his emotions on his sleeve. We saw that when he appeared to rip into Russell Wilson on the sideline last season (video here). In this particular instance, it seemed like Nix was unhappy with something Payton said — not the other way around.
