Watch: Vontaze Burfict ejected for head shot on Jack Doyle
Vontaze Burfict is known for being one of the dirtiest players in NFL history, and he continues to show he has no interest in changing that reputation.
Burfict’s latest cheap shot earned him an ejection from Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. The Oakland Raiders linebacker delivered a late head shot to Colts tight end Jack Doyle, which drew a 15-yard penalty. He was then ejected upon review.

Doyle was on his knees when Burfict came charging in and launched himself at him. The play will certainly draw a fine from the NFL, and it could very well result in a suspension given his history.
Burfict, who threw some punches during last week’s game, has been fined or suspended more than a dozen times since his NFL career began in 2012. He’s lost the benefit of the doubt with plays like the one we saw Sunday.
