Miller, 32, was injured late in the first half of Chicago’s 22-16 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. His 47 receptions and four touchdown catches were both tops on the team this year. Miller’s 486 receiving yards also ranked second on the Bears.
It’s been a miserable 2016 campaign for the 2-8 Bears as they’ve been hit with everything from poor play and suspensions to injuries and internal turmoil. At this point, the end of the season could not come quickly enough for them.
