The US Open went into a weather delay during the final round of play at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa., on Sunday. Rain was coming down hard, which caused pooling around the greens.
The horn was blown at 4:01 p.m. ET to indicate play had been suspended due to the weather.

Oakmont Country Club had also received a flash flood warning.
Sam Burns was in the lead at 2-under par through seven holes at the time play was suspended. Adam Scott was second at one shot behind Burns. Jon Rahm surged up the leaderboard with a final round 67, which tied Rory McIlroy for the best score in the final round at the time play was suspended.
