Report: Carlos Boozer and wife Cindy getting divorced a second time
Anyone who has been through a divorce will tell you how difficult it can be. Anyone who has been through two divorces will likely tell you it is even harder. And anyone who has divorced the same woman twice will tell you — well, there probably aren’t many of those people out there. Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer is one of them.
According to TMZ, Boozer filed for divorce from his wife Cindy last week claiming that their marriage is “irretrievably broken.” Filing for divorce is certainly very common in America, but this is the second time Carlos and Cindy will be legally splitting in the last four years.
Boozer and his wife were married for eight years before they got a divorce in 2010. As TMZ noted, the divorce came after allegations that Boozer had an affair with a contestant from “The Bachelor” in 2009. Carlos and Cindy, who have three children together, worked through their differences and remarried in March of 2012.
They have apparently hit another major snag, and Boozer is asking for “frequent and liberal timesharing” with the couple’s children. Good thing Boozer has played in the NBA for over a decade, because I can only imagine the costs that are associated with marrying and divorcing the same woman twice.
