Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn break up
Lindsey Vonn announced on Sunday afternoon that her relationship with Tiger Woods has ended. The Olympic skier described the unexpected split as a “mutual” decision.
“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship,” Vonn wrote on her Facebook page. “I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Of course, rumors of Tiger cheating on Lindsey are going to pop up everywhere because of his well-documented history of infidelity. However, Vonn gave no indication that there is any bad blood between the two.
Vonn and Woods seemed happy together, at least in public. Lindsey and Tiger’s kids caddied at the Masters par-3 contest just a few weeks ago, and she has attended several of his tournaments over the past few years. Tiger was also spotted at one of Lindsey’s races over the winter.
Remember that joke Vonn made recently that indicated she hates golf? Maybe that was enough to do the couple in.
