Evander Kane gets a ‘YMCMB’ haircut as tribute to Lil Wayne (Picture)
Winnipeg Jets winger Evander Kane is a big Lil Wayne fan. Anyone who follows him on Twitter is aware of that, since he often tweets lines from Weezy’s songs. Last season, he seemed to use Lil Wayne lines to respond to criticism he was hearing from Winnipeg fans and the media when he was in the middle of a goal drought.
On Friday, Kane shared a few photos of his new haircut on Twitter. For those of you who didn’t know, “YMCMB” is an acronym for “Young Money Cash Money Billionaires,” which is a reference to Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label.
Apparently Kane is an even bigger Lil Wayne fan than we thought. Jets fans would probably prefer him to get a haircut that shows team spirit like the one Raptors forward Amir Johnson has, but it’s not their hair. His hair, his choice.
