Evgeni Malkin credited with Game 4 goal after review
Evgeni Malkin was credited with a goal in Game 4 of the Pittsburgh Penguins-Washington Capitals Eastern Conference semifinals series after a review by the officials.
The Penguins were on a power play with two and a half minutes remaining in the second period when Malkin tried to push across a rebound off his own miss against Braden Holtby. It was unclear whether the puck made it into the goal, so the officials reviewed the play. They decided that Malkin had scored.
This photo shows the puck crossing the line into the net, leaving no doubt.
