Everything seems to have been clicking for the Boston Bruins.
The Bruins enter the Stanley Cup Final on a 7-game winning streak. They won three in a row to close out their series with the Columbus Blue Jackets in six. Then they swept the Carolina Hurricanes in the conference final.
What is it about the Bruins that everything seems to be going the right way? Their chemistry is great, and defenseman John Moore shared the secret to that.
“For lack of a better way to put it there’s no d—heads,” Moore said Saturday of the team’s chemistry, via The Boston Globe’s Matt Porter.
So that’s it. That’s your secret. When you build a team, don’t have any d—heads.
Moore has only played in five games this postseason due to an upper body injury but has been around the team enough to know what they have going for them.
Boston has been off since May 16 when they clinched the series against Carolina. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final will be on Monday against the St. Louis Blues.
