The Las Vegas Golden Knights took a 2-1 series lead over the Winnipeg Jets in the Western Conference Finals Wednesday night, and it’s starting to seem like a certain custom exotic car may have had something to do with it.
For the second time this postseason, Vegas center Jonathan Marchessault rolled up to T-Mobile Arena in his gold Lamborghini that has Knights logos on the side. And for the second time, he had a huge game en route to a victory. Needless to say, it’s now officially a thing.
Jonathan Marchessault told me he will drive the custom Vegas Golden Knights Lamborghini to home games for the rest of the postseason. He first drove it to Game 5 in the previous series against San Jose and had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win. pic.twitter.com/cURYYwaSP7

Marchessault first drove the car to Game 5 against the San Jose Sharks last round, and he had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win that night. He scored two goals in Wednesday’s 4-2 victory.
The good news is there are worse things in life than having to commute to work in one of the sickest cars you will ever see. I guess you could say Marchessault is taking one for the team without really taking one for the team.
