Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane has reportedly been linked to a rape investigation.
According to WKBW in Buffalo, police are investigating an alleged incident involving Kane that took place at a bar in upstate New York last weekend. Tim Graham of The Buffalo News reports that the nature of the investigation — though not confirmed by law enforcement — involves rape.
Graham added that no charges have been filed against Kane, but there is a growing belief that the 26-year-old could turn himself in as early as Thursday. It’s unclear if Kane is a suspect or just wanted for questioning, but Graham clarified that his sources used the phrase “turn himself in.” That typically implies that charges are pending.

Law enforcement sources told The Buffalo News that a woman accused Kane of sexual assault and went to a local hospital to have a rape kit performed.
Kane, a native of Buffalo who openly shared his thoughts on NHL groupies several years ago, was scheduled to have his day with the Stanley Cup in Buffalo this weekend.
