Halloween is still roughly a week away, and Montreal Canadiens defenseman PK Subban may have already locked down the award for best costume.
The Canadiens hosted a Halloween party on Wednesday night that featured some great costumes, but none were better than Subban’s “Thriller” getup. He looked exactly like Michael Jackson in the late pop star’s most well-known music video. The makeup was awesome.
As 25Stanley.com noted, Subban wasn’t the only Canadiens player with great makeup to go along with his costume. David Desharnais also killed it as The Joker.

Some players went with the more light-hearted theme. For example, Dale Weise dressed in a full monkey suit. SI.com’s Extra Mustard identified him as one of the flying monkeys from “The Wizard of Oz.”

We’ve seen some fantastic Halloween costumes over the years, but Subban’s “Thriller” costume — and the Canadiens party as a whole — is going to be tough to beat.
