Craig Sager’s leukemia has returned

Earlier this month, Craig Sager made his return to the sideline after taking time away to undergo treatment for leukemia. It had been more than six months since the beloved reporter did what he enjoys so much.

Unfortunately, Sager is now dealing with new set of challenges. According to a statement via Craig Sager Jr., his father’s leukemia has returned.

The 63-year-old Sager was originally schedule to be part of the NCAA Tournament broadcast coverage for games in Omaha, Nebraska in March. However, he announced that would not be the case as doctors suggested additional tests needed to be done.

The amount of support for Craig Sager during his initial battle was overwhelming and we can only imagine the amount this time around will equal or surpass that. We at LBS sports pass along our well wishes to Sager and his family.
