Ernie Johnson beat Charles Barkley at three-point contest (Video)
While in Oklahoma City for the Western Conference Finals, Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley had a three-point shooting contest at Chesapeake Energy Arena. In news that will surprise some, Johnson was victorious.
The scores was tied 5-5 after the first two racks. Then, Johnson made three of five shots on the third rack while Barkley missed them all, which ended up being the difference in the final score.

Johnson wearing the “Elevator Ernie Johnson” shirt is just tremendous and Kenny Smith’s commentary added to the fun, much like during the “Inside The NBA” broadcasts.
Barkley wasn’t exactly Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson from behind the three-point line (his career-high for a season was 34%), but it has to be atleast a little surprising he didn’t come out on top, right? Let’s give Johnson his props though. He’s got a decent looking shot and like he said, held it down for grandfathers everywhere.
