Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark dealt with plenty of bumps and bruises during his NFL career, but he probably never expected to end up on the injured list in his new line of work.
Clark, who now works as an analyst for ESPN, suffered an injury on Monday that required stitches. An initial “report” from Adam Schefter indicated that Clark needed two or three stitches after walking into a camera, but Clark later clarified that it was actually five.
Update Shefty….. Initial reports were wrong. 5 stitches were needed. Once we went into the injury tent, we realized in was a little more severe than the initial diagnosis

That must have been a pretty nasty gash, but Clark has always been a tough guy. We’re guessing he won’t be sidelined for very long. He will, however, likely keep his head on a swivel going forward.
