Velasquez has been charged with attempted murder, according to TMZ.

San Jose, Calif. police shared on Monday that a shooting took place in Morgan Hill at the intersection of Monterey Hwy. and Bailey Ave. The Santa Clara County Department of Corrections database showed that Velasquez was booked, though police have not shared many details from the incident.

The man who was shot was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Velasquez remained in jail as of Tuesday morning.
