MMA broadcaster Jon Anik made good on his word.
In the week leading up to the UFC 196 fight between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor fight, Anik was so sure that McGregor would win, he vowed to get a “209” tattoo if the Irishman lost.
209 is the area code of Stockton, Calif., the hometown Nate and brother Nick Diaz so proudly represent.
From the looks of things, Anik got the tattoo on his forearm:
That is Anik’s first tattoo, and what a choice it was. That ought to teach him a lesson about making guarantees like that in the future.
